Al Bryan Receives Award Recognizing Distinguished Service
Bryan & Company LLP is pleased to congratulate Al Bryan as the recipient of the 2009 award for Distinguished Service to the Community presented by the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association-Alberta.
In addition to his long and distinguished legal career, Al Bryan has had a profound impact on communities in Edmonton as well as throughout Alberta that reaches well beyond his many professional accomplishments. He has been extensively involved in various community organizations, not-for-profit groups, and university foundations over the course of his career. Such involvements include serving on almost 20 different church boards, the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra board, Minerva Foundation, Edmonton Art Gallery board, a number of charitable foundations as well as a host of government and economic advisory committees. More recently, he is a past chairman of the Mental Health Foundation (Capital Region).
